What is House Air Waybill?
House Air Waybill (HAWB) is a shipping document used in the air freight industry to identify and track individual shipments of cargo. The HAWB is typically issued by a freight forwarder or consolidator and is used to consolidate multiple shipments from different shippers into a single air waybill.
The HAWB includes information such as the name and address of the shipper and consignee, the weight and dimensions of the shipment, and the flight details and routing for the shipment. It serves as a contract of carriage between the shipper and the air carrier and is used to track the shipment as it moves through the air freight process.
