Acceptance of Goods in logistics refers to the formal acknowledgment and approval of received goods or shipments by the intended recipient or buyer. It is an essential step in the logistics supply chain, particularly in procurement and distribution processes. The acceptance process involves physically inspecting the delivered goods to ensure they meet the agreed-upon specifications, quantity, quality, and condition.  

The recipient verifies that the goods match the purchase order or contract and checks for any damages, discrepancies, or defects. Acceptance of Goods helps validate the completion of the delivery process, triggers further actions such as payment processing, and enables inventory management and subsequent transportation or distribution activities.
