What does Delivered EX Ship (DES) mean?

Delivered EX Ship (DES) is another shipping term used in international trade, which is similar to DEQ, but the seller bears more responsibility for the delivery of the goods. Under a DES agreement, the seller is responsible for delivering the goods to the destination port, and they are responsible for all costs and risks associated with the goods until they are unloaded at the destination port. However, once the goods are unloaded, the buyer takes ownership and bears all costs and risks associated with the goods.
