Quick Ramp Transfer, often referred to as QRT, is a high-priority and expedited process for transferring cargo or freight between different modes of transportation, typically from an arriving aircraft to another vehicle, such as a truck or train, for onward delivery. Quick Ramp Transfer is employed when time is of the essence, such as in the case of perishable goods, medical supplies, or emergency response situations.
