Consolidated Shipping

Consolidating shipping is a method where the consigner takes all the LCL shipments from different shippers and combines them into one full container. This can help the shippers get a preferred rate and reduce the cost by optimizing the supply chain process.  

After the process of consolidation, an Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) is sent to the buyers to update them about the order consolidation. This method is most beneficial for the ecommerce retailers when they have to send large volumes to a destination.
