ASN (Advance Shipping Notice)

An ASN is a document that provides detailed information about a shipment, including the items that are being shipped, their quantities, and their assigned shipping labels. It is typically generated by the shipper and sent to the recipient – typically the retailer – prior to the shipment’s arrival.    

An ASN will include information about every item in a shipment, including its product code, description, quantity, and weight. The document will also list the courier who will be delivering the package and include tracking information so that recipients can keep tabs on their orders.
