Approved Continuous Examination Program (ACEP)

The Approved Continuous Examination Program (ACEP) is a program implemented by customs authorities to streamline the inspection and clearance process for imports or exports. Under ACEP, eligible companies or importers that have met specific criteria and requirements are granted expedited clearance privileges. This program allows for a more efficient and expedited customs clearance process, reducing delays and administrative burdens associated with routine inspections for qualifying shipments.  

ACEP aims to facilitate trade, improve supply chain efficiency, and enhance customs compliance by implementing risk-based approaches to inspections and focusing resources on higher-risk shipments.
