Transhipment Vehicles

Transshipment Vehicles refer to specialized vehicles or equipment used in logistics and transportation to facilitate the transfer of cargo or goods from one mode of transportation to another, such as from a ship to a truck or from a train to a ship. 

Transshipment vehicles are a fundamental component of intermodal transportation, where cargo is transferred between different modes, including ships, trucks, trains, and aircraft.  

They ensure that goods can continue their journey without interruption. Furthermore, these vehicles come in various types, each designed for specific cargo handling needs. These include container handlers, reach stackers, straddle carriers, side loaders, and mobile cranes, among others.
